Mar – Seeing Her Naked EP

I fell in love with Mar’s voice back in 2010 when he dropped the Conversations With Her EP with Full Crate. Since then, he’s moved on to projects of his own, including my personal favorite: 2u4u, a tribute to the legendary Jay Dee. Early last week he released his newest EP titled “Seeing Her Naked,” which I was highly anticipating. It blew my mind as I thought it would, don’t sleep!

Egg Black EP: Miles Bonny x B.Lewis

Although it’s been a little while since I’ve had the time to write up some new posts, I had a good chance to explore some new music and gather up some solid content. “Egg Black” is an EP I’ve been meaning to share with you guys for a while now, and it’s been getting crazy plays on my iPod. Miles Bonny laces B.Lewis’ instrumentals with some soothing vocals, I knew this shit was gonna be dope before I even bought it. Anyways, give it a listen, cop it if you’re feelin’ it, I’ve gotten some nice feedback from people I’ve shown already. If you know B.Lewis, this is some of his greatness! Pz

Mister Lies & Different Sleep – Safety Net (Feat. Jessica Blanchet)

ImageNewness from our brothers over in the Chi. Kick back, light some candles, and have a listen, we were blessed with a free download on this one.

Mike Gao – Ausgangsta (Ta-ku Remix)

New sounds from Ta-Ku that dropped earlier today, I immediately hit that favorite button as soon as I heard this remix. The drums come in messy but the track stays smooth as hell, it’s got that bounce to it. Find out more on Mike Gao’s latest project and the origins of this remix here. Talented dude if I may add.

D3ADL1NE – Reach

D3ADL1NE has officially partnered up with MRgruff to unveil ‘Reach’, a melodic future garage track. I hopped on the D3ADL1NE band wagon as soon as I heard his first few releases and I must say he hasn’t disappointment me since. Expect more from this massive talent coming out of Leeds.. In the mean time, kick back and enjoy this one.

I finally got a chance to give Svengali’s first label-compilation-album a listen, and I think it’s safe to say that there was not a single track I wasn’t a fan of. You might recognize some artists in this volume from previous entries I’ve written, such as Soleman and Different Sleep, but the artists I wasn’t familiar with left a great first impression. Give it a listen, it’s a “name your price” collection so don’t be shy to support some good music.

Aaliyah – Rock The Boat (Shigeto Remix)

This track blows me away.. Simply amazing.

I was super inspired from all the love in the air for Jay Dee’s Birthday today. Got me thinking about what an inspiration Detroit music is. Then got me thinking about other Detroit artists. Then got me thinking about Aaliyah, another amazing talent that we lost way to soon. So I made this. Inspired by Aaliyah, Jay Dee and Detroit.
