Bugge Wesseltoft, Henrik Schwarz & Dan Berglund – Movement 11 / Mozart Balls

Resident Advisor is really stepping it up with their video features. For this session, 3 musicians, all reigning from different backgrounds, come together to create genre-fused captivating performance.

Kawehi – Anthem

Kawehi is an artist from Honolulu who recently caught me eye. She’s one of those multi-talented musicians that does everything, which results in a really organic sound. Definitely check out her Facebook page, she’s got a lot of interesting projects going on.

Miles Bonny x B. Lewis – Bottom To Top [Video]

Here are the latest visuals from Bonny and Lewis’ latest EP “Egg Black.” Seductive sounds call for seductive displays.. Peep the vibe.

Mike Gao – Ausgangsta (Ta-ku Remix)

New sounds from Ta-Ku that dropped earlier today, I immediately hit that favorite button as soon as I heard this remix. The drums come in messy but the track stays smooth as hell, it’s got that bounce to it. Find out more on Mike Gao’s latest project and the origins of this remix here. Talented dude if I may add.

VA – SVENGALI VOL. 1

I finally got a chance to give Svengali’s first label-compilation-album a listen, and I think it’s safe to say that there was not a single track I wasn’t a fan of. You might recognize some artists in this volume from previous entries I’ve written, such as Soleman and Different Sleep, but the artists I wasn’t familiar with left a great first impression. Give it a listen, it’s a “name your price” collection so don’t be shy to support some good music.

SoundMachines

SoundMachine is an instrument for performing electronic music. Developed by “The Product”, a Berlin-based design studio, SoundMachines bring a new concept to electronic music producing.

Three units, which are resembling standard record players, translate concentric visual patterns into control signals for further processing in any music software. The rotation of the discs, each holding three tracks, can be synced to a sequencer.

Lianne La Havas – Forget (Shlohmo Remix)

This is how remixes are done! Shlohmo sprinkling his own sound into the track, using the lovely voice of Lianne La Havas to compliment the deep-pitched melody and vibe in which Shlohmo’s flip holds. Check it.
