Cathedral Made from 55,000 LED Lights

A glowing cathedral like structure — dubbed the Luminarie De Cagna, was display at the 2012 Light Festival in Ghent, Belgium. “Soaring above the street at 91 feet high and using 55,000 LEDs to light up the night sky. The canopies and columns are created out of wood and the lights, and despite the jaw dropping light and color, the whole shebang only uses 20 kilowatts per hour of energy.”

Little Printer

This tiny printer works in harmony with either an iOS or Android app. The choice of subscriptions include tasks (like grocery lists), calendars/reminders, personal Nike running data, sudoku puzzles, etc. (see Berg’s website). By clicking a small button, all of the subscriptions are quickly and wirelessly printed in a beautiful format. The Little Printer offers a great way to access small physical copies of notes or lists that can easily disappear in any digital life. Fortunately, the Little Printer uses thermal receipt paper so there is never a need to replace the ink. There is no pricing information, but it will be available for pre-order in 2012.
