New Era – NEXC Creative Pack

In celebrating New Era’s 90th anniversary, New Era has created a special New Era XC (NEXC) pack which encompassed a classic 59Fifty fitted hat and art supplies, to be delivered to 90 graduate artists and designers from some of Europe’s most prestigious art schools for a creative competition with a £10,000 bursary to help them launch their career. The designs from this project will be exhibited at five galleries across Europe in Milan, Barcelona, London, Berlin and Paris, and Creative Review has provided us with a sneak peek into some of the imaginative designs submitted. So, put on your thinking cap, arm yourself with a marker, and read up, and get inspired.

Todd Bratrud x Nike SB Dunk Low “Loon” | Release Information

Illustrator Todd Bratrud is one of the experienced veterans of collaboration with Nike SB,and some of the more recent ubiquitous projects are the Nike SB “Brain Wreck” Dunk Hi, and before that, the “Send Help” sneaker. This November, the duo returns with a new Nike SB Dunk Low “Loon”, which notes Bratrud’s tendency for the whimsical.

The new Dunk Low “Loon” features a white leather base , but comes accented with black paneling, green Swoosh and outsoles. The most intriguing part of this design is the meticulously embroidered silver dots and squiggly lines against the black panel, giving the shoes an interesting cellular look.
