The newest converse collaboration was announced this morning and it’ going to be sick! Comme Des Garcons is coming together with converse to make the new shoes which will be launching at the end of the month. Rei Kawakubo created the design, using Chuck Taylor silhouettes from the 50’s (originally produced for the U.S. Military. These are defiantly going to be a hit.

Sup yo, Boys Noize, Power (right click to download) came out with a fresh new album coming out in october only (you’re welcome). For all of you who don’t know who they are, they’re from Germany, and mostly base their music on “electro” with a twist, they’ve made two previous albums called Oi Oi Oi, if yu wanna check out it out. But here’s the newest one ‘POWER’.

Lupe Fiasco out with another hit with a sort of dance beat as the background. The track is called ‘This Is For My Niggas’ (pardon my swag) and it’s a pretty sweet track. I’m missing his old stuff though I won’t lie. Lupe’s new album Lasers (Love Always Shines Every time Remember 2 Smile) is coming out soon and I’m pretty excited.

I don’t know why, but I’m really into remixes of Passion Pit songs. I decided to look around for some a few nights ago to add to my library and I found ‘Sleepyhead’ remixed by The knocks. I’m pretty into this one, but then again I’m not that picky when it comes to remixes. Along with the Passion Pit remix I decided to post a hit single by The Knocks which some of you may know, ‘Can’t Shake Your Love’. I decided to throw in some other remixes because it seemed appropriate, Wale’s ‘Chillin’ has a dope remix, enjoy! I herd these guys will start making beats for newer rappers, Kid Cudi maybe?

Hello Schiaff The Past followers! I’d like to announce that we now have a new blogger on our team. His name is Dyl Weiss and is a close friend of mine into all types of music but specializes in genres along the lines of Techno and Hip-Hop. Dyl is a music friend like the rest of us here at S.T.P and we are glad to have him on board. Tomorrow is his first official day and I’m sure he’ll type up a little bit about himself. It’s safe to say that this blog is coming along nicely, and we now have Dyl to help.
